"We have absolutely no regrets about choosing Mike and the Summit Construction team to handle our recently completed renovation. Mike impressed us from the get-go with his honesty and excellent communication skills. Once the build commenced, he was a frequent presence on site, not only project managing but on the tools as well, and his construction team were all friendly, tidy and efficient. We had a few curveballs along with way, with plans having to be adjusted according to supply chain issues, the nothing fazed the team.
My husband can sometimes be *picky* but when I asked him how he would describe Summit Construction he said:
- Skilled tradesmen - Hard working - Flexible - Reliable
He would often email Mike to confirm certain aspects of the build, or query timeframes. Mike would always reply promptly-even at weekends or when he was on leave! Furthermore, invoices were sent out at regular intervals and Claire (the office whiz) would ensure that all costs were clearly itemised, so my husband could accurately track all expenditure. We would wholeheartedly recommend Summit Construction and look forward to using them again." - Angela & Ian
“Doing a major renovation for our family home was a daunting task and we were luckily recommended Mike Dear. We had met a few builders and were given quotes for our project and they varied considerably. Being a busy time of year in the industry we didn’t feel any of them really cared about our project and we were just another ‘job’. Mike however was not only competitive but he was genuine and upfront about what it all included and what he could do for our plan to come to life. He took time to answer our questions and queries and gave excellent professional opinions and communicated very well during the entire build. Mike was very organised and minimised any delays in supply and contract work. “From the moment we contacted Mike and the team at Summit Construction to get an overview of services and an idea of how we could renovate our house I knew we were in good hands. You honestly can’t fault the team. Mike's communication the whole way through the process is second to none, they were true to quoted cost and timelines also. Sam the Project Manager is on to anything so quickly and gives you great updates and is so accommodating with any requests made and Steve and the guys on the tools were the best! Friendly, always there when they said they would be and their quality and standards were faultless. Even the subcontractors used were awesome, fast and communicative.

“We have used Summit for three separate projects during our house renovation. Communication - fantastic. I had more than the normal amount of questions as things had gone very wrong in this area with a different company. They were always willing to answer any query which popped up. All of their staff were polite and followed through with what they said they were going to do. Quotes/costs - their quotes were always accurate. Any changes needed were discussed clearly and followed up in writing. Workmanship - We are over the moon with the work carried out by Summit construction and would happily recommend them.
