After 15 years working in the construction industry, starting Summit Construction was a natural progression into the next phase of my building career. It is my passion to use my skills to create something I am proud of, whilst working with clients to make their visions become a reality. Along with management and communication that goes above and beyond, I try to make life as easy as possible for the client throughout the job. Whatever that may be. I put my name to every job and won't leave until it's done right! ​Being a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP), you can have complete confidence in the work that I deliver."

Outside of work you'll find me in the gym doing CrossFit, or multisport training for Coast to Coast. On the days off training, when I'm not snowboarding, diving or watching the rugby, there's always a new project or things to be built around home!

Project Manager &

Sam loves a good challenging renovation and the resulting transformation that comes from getting the little things spot on. He is a true believer in the devil being in the detail. When not scanning over plans or framing up a new extension, you will find him pacing the sidelines at junior football or chasing salmon up the Waimak.
BRIE
Office Manager
Brie is a skilled professional with extensive experience in administration and client service. Growing up immersed in the construction industry, she values dedication, hard work and creativity. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the South Island, discovering new restaurants & hotspots, and spending time with loved ones.
ROSHEAN
Marketing and Administration Assistant
With a passion for creativity and organisation, Roshean loves creating engaging content and helping bring the Summit brand to life. Outside the office, you'll find her laughing with her friends or convincing them to join in on her upcoming side quests.
STEVE
Foreman & Licensed Building Practitioner
Steve is back on board with the Summit team after spending some time travelling overseas. We’re thrilled to have him return, bringing his extensive knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. Outside of work, Steve enjoys exploring the outdoors and pursuing academic research into ways to improve human wellbeing.
TAYLOR
Foreman & Licensed Building Practitioner
Taylor has 15+ years in construction and 5 years as a qualified Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP). Outside of work, he enjoys camping, swimming, fishing, and spending quality time with his kids in the great outdoors.
JOSH
Plumber
As a plumber with over 12 years of experience, Josh has the skills to deliver an exceptional result on any project. Prior to plumbing, Josh was in the army and brings that meticulous mindset into his work. He enjoys spending time and building memories with his family and young kids.
JOSHUA
Carpenter
Joshua is a skilled carpenter with 5 years of experience, recently relocated from Wellington. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, hunting, spearfishing, and scenic walks with his wife, Amy. He brings valuable expertise and passion to every project he’s involved in.
ANGUS
Apprentice Carpenter
Angus was previously a Painting Foreman before deciding to undertake a carpentry apprenticeship. This move was driven by a keenness to learn new skills and be more challenged by his work. During his free time, you'll find Angus fishing, watching rugby or enjoying the trails throughout the Port Hills.
DAN
Apprentice Carpenter
Dan joins Summit with a background in education and pastoral care within a boarding school environment. Keen to work with his hands and put his problem-solving skills into practice, he’s taken on a building apprenticeship with the team. Originally from Hamilton, he’s looking forward to exploring the South Island with his partner, Caroline. Outside of work, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling.
PATRICK
Apprentice Carpenter
Patrick has joined the team as an apprentice, bringing with him an extensive background in civil engineering. He’s hit the ground running and has already become a valuable asset to the team. Outside of work, you can find him on an outdoor adventure or running the trails.
